Brief Bio: Hetty Baiz holds a BFA degree from Cornell University and a Masters from Columbia University. She also studied art at Bard College and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture where she was awarded a fellowship and purchase prize in drawing. Her most recent solo exhibitions in 2008 - 09 include the Tenri Cultural Institute, New York City; the Morpeth Gallery, Hopewell, NJ; and DrawingSpace Melbourne, Australia. Baiz has been selected to participate in the 2009 International Women Artists Biennale in Incheon, Korea, summer 2009. She has participated in many juried and invitational exhibitions and has works held in both public and private collections.
Baiz is a juried member of the National Association of Women Artists and a member of the College Art Association. She is co-president of the Princeton Artists Alliance, a group of professional artist who exhibit their work together. Her work is represented by the Morpeth Gallery in Hopewell, NJ.
